"Treasures, Travels & Tales" is a half hour television program that as the name plainly suggests, is broken up into three magically different segments. The show is broadcast over 50 times a week on 25+ regional stations throughout Western New York!
Around a thousand years ago, in a VERY different life before this one and the show, I was a full-time musician, engineer/producer and record label owner. I've been playing guitar and various the instruments since I was 7 and attempting to write my own music since I was around 12. The songs didn't get even marginally good until I was in my mid-twenties which is where this story begins, or at least, what you'll hear of it. And since I needed music for the show well, why not use this back-catalog of material I'm sitting on and give it all a home. I have hundreds of songs just waiting to be pillaged for the show. So, that's what I did. Well, kinda-sorta... as I actually started writing again for the show and now have dozens more. I hope to eventually get my entire catalog of music posted here whether it's for the show or not. Check back every once and awhile and see what's new. You can download all of these or just stream them as you wish. Thank you for listening. -AA
FROM THE SHOW
"Goodbye my love"
I wrote this as an intro to a small segment for the first show I created and produced in California. It was a segment about a Surfer named "Willie" and his pet Turtle named "Samson". It's served me well over the years and has now turned into the theme song for "Treasures, Travels & Tales". It was improvised and a first take, so it is what it is.
"4AM" was written during a class in my Senior year at West Seneca East, Senior High, October of '86 to be exact. I for some reason can never forget looking at the chalkboard poster and seeing an image of a kid scaling a series of "Letters" so... I was inspired. This was also the first song I ever recorded on my old cassette tape 4-Track. Many of you won't have an idea of what that is. Look it up kids...
